The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Board Game Premiere Night

By Sara Erickson

On June 19th, 2013, Cryptozoic will be releasing our highly anticipated game, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Board Game. Just like a new movie release, we think this game deserves a bit of a party. Our Game Premiere Night program will allow players to learn about a new game and even take it home before the official release.

What is a Game Premiere Night?

Join your favorite retailer on the red carpet for the Game Premiere Night experience! Participating hobby stores will have a few copies of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Board Game for sale starting June 14th, before the official release on June 19th. They will also have a demo copy to help you learn the game during your Dwarf-filled adventure. Check with your local store to find out when they will be hosting their Game Premiere Night!

Tell me more about The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Board Game

From master game designer Reiner Knizia comes The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Board Game, an exciting game of adventure in which you join Bilbo Baggins™ and his 13 Dwarven companions on their journey through the Lonelands and Misty Mountains, encountering Goblins, Trolls, and other dangers that seek to put an end to their adventures. Traverse your way through two boards, each more difficult than the last, with the goal of coming out alive and prepared for the dangers that lie ahead. Your accumulated points at the end of the game will be your personal mark for finding out how successful you really are as an adventurer!

Hobby Store Owners - How to sign up

Hobby stores that order the Game Premiere Night Kit through Alliance will receive one case of the game, a reduced cost demo copy, a poster, and a info sheet no later than June 19th (while supplies last, so act fast!). These materials will help you advertise and enjoy a night full of Middle-earthtm adventures!

Are you a store owner who wants to be involved? Simply call your Alliance rep and request these promo cards with your order. And...that's it! Be sure to let your customers know when you will be hosting your Game Premiere Night Event!
