Cryptozoic Entertainment Launches Pledge Manager for The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary Kickstarter Campaign

Backers Can Finalize Their Selections and Mailing Information for the Upcoming Game and Newcomers Get One Last Chance to Pledge

Lake Forest, CA – August 23, 2016 – Following the conclusion of the game’s successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this month, Cryptozoic Entertainment announces the launch today of the Pledge Manager for The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary, a miniatures-based board game inspired by AMC’s hit TV show and designed by Adam and Brady Sadler. The Pledge Manager will be open through at least September and allows backers to finalize the items they’ve ordered, order more add-ons, pay for shipping, and fill out their mailing information. In addition, non-backers can use the Pledge Manager for one last chance to purchase the game with its numerous Kickstarter-exclusives figures and components that will not be available at retail.

The Kickstarter campaign for The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary experienced an exciting change in course in its last week, as Cryptozoic responded to the comments of backers and restructured the reward tiers. The result was the addition of over 50 miniature figures—including a figure of Daryl on a motorcycle—and other game elements to the most popular tier. At final count, backers received 76 figures for pledging to the $75 Base Game tier and a whopping 130 figures for the $125 No Sanctuary tier. In contrast, the retail version of the game will have 53 figures. The campaign surged with nearly $200,000 more in pledges in the closing week, an increase that reinforced Cryptozoic’s motto of “Fans First,” as the company displayed its willingness to respond to the desires of its fanbase. The final numbers were 3,086 backers and $433,644 in pledges.

Backers of the campaign unlocked several stretch goals—many exclusive to the campaign—including figures for survivors like Sasha and Morgan, various walkers, and Dale’s iconic RV, as well as scenarios inspired directly by episodes and additional gameplay features. As part of one of the social media campaigns, backers were even able to unlock the figure for the Governor, one of the most iconic villains in TV history. Several popular optional add-ons were made available, such as the “Killer Within” and “What Lies Ahead” Expansions, Lori Grimes figure, “Better Angels” player-versus-player scenario, and additional copies of various survivors and walkers.

Those who backed during the campaign should have received personal email messages with links to the Pledge Manager. If not, they should contact Cryptozoic right away. The Pledge Manager will run through at least September. Once the Pledge Manager concludes, Cryptozoic will continue finishing design work on the game and prepare it for an expected ship date of July 2017.
