The Walking Dead season 3 premieres on October 14th on AMC, and we cannot wait to see what the new season has in store for us. Rick and the group of survivors continue onward in their fight to stay alive in a world ravaged by a zombie apocalypse.
The big trailer for season 3 came out of the San Diego Comic-Con this Summer, which you can view by clicking here. For those that are avoiding any and all peeks at what is coming in the third season, I recommend hitting the back button on your browser, and you most certainly should not scroll below the Michonne card pictured below (and in case you're wondering, this was given out as a promo at the San Diego Comic-Con).
The group makes their way into a prison, and they fight their way through Walker after Walker in order to claim it as their safe haven. Rick encourages the group to press on, as they allow him to take lead into securing the prison.
Meanwhile, Andrea, who was separated from the group, meets Michonne, a new character that possesses skill with a katana. The two stumble upon a town that has managed to survive the onslaught of the zombie apocalypse, known as Woodbury. There, they meet a mysterious man known as The Governor, who runs the town. He welcomes them to Woodbury, but the two feel that there is more going on under the surface with the town and its leader.
Will Rick and the group manage to secure the prison, and remain safe? Will Andrea, now having joined with Michonne, find their way back to Rick and the rest of the survivors? And what of the town of Woodbury? Will they be welcoming of Rick and the group, or will tension mount between the survivors and the town's leaders?
Like many of us, you will just have to wait until October 14th to see how the third season plays out.
