Trading Cards - What's Coming Up?

By Mike Rosenberg

The world of trading cards is going to be exciting in 2013! In case you missed it, we made some big announcements at the Philly Non-Sport Card Show on both Saturday and Sunday during that weekend. To summarize, you'll have the following new lines of trading cards to look forward to at some time in 2013:

-Archer Trading Cards

-Once Upon A Time Trading Cards

-Psych Trading Cards

-Alphas Trading Cards

However, we may be getting ahead of ourselves. After all, we've got a few products coming out in the coming months for you to check out!

First up, The Walking Dead Season 2 Trading Cards. The follow-up to the popular first set of trading cards will be released on December 11th, just in time for the holiday season. Mark your calendars!

The second set of trading cards based on the hit AMC show features plenty of new autographs and wardrobe pieces to collect. This includes the autographs of Andrew Lincoln and Sarah Wayne Callies.

The Walking Dead Season 2 Trading Cards also include beautiful and very hard-to-find sketch cards that reflects a wide range of artistic talent. We're not exaggerating that these will be hard to find either. If you open one, then congratulations!

Coming up after the release of The Walking Dead Season 2 Trading cards are The Big Bang Theory Seasons 3 & 4 Trading Cards.

Following the immensely successful first release that focused on seasons 1 & 2, this latest set features Leonard, Penny, and the rest of the crew in many great moments from the third and fourth seasons of the hit TV show. Autograph and Wardrobe cards will return, and the chase sets will highlight some of the greatest duos in the series.

And then, after the release of The Big Bang Theory Seasons 3 & 4 Trading Cards, the dark knight will descend onto hobby stores with DC Comics Batman™: The Legend Trading Cards.

The Caped Crusader, his allies, and Gotham's greatest villains will make their appearance in the latest DC Universethemed trading card release. Chase sets will feature highlights of the Batmobile, the Batcave, and the Circus of Villains which will highlight some of Gotham's grizzliest terrors.

And of course, sketch cards will make their appeance. A lot of them, in fact. Seriously! There's already a ton of great art showcased from our talented sketch artists on Facebook, and we're not even done showing off all the awesome that collectors can find in this set!

We've got a busy few months ahead of us with three great releases, and much more planned beyond that. 2012 has been an exciting year for trading cards, and we look forward to bringing you even more in 2013!
